Best Laptop for Pharmacy School

Many students choose to bring laptops to lecture to take notes for pharmacy school. In addition, having a laptop is very useful for group projects and studying powerpoint presentations in the library. When looking for a laptop, the most important features to look for the general consumer would be price, battery life, and portability. If you are a gamer or want to run more intensive programs such as Photoshop and video editing software such as Premiere, you will also want to look at the CPU processor as well as memory (RAM). For the general consumer, the standard amount of disk storage is more than sufficient.

If you do not currently own a smartphone with a data plan, you may also want to consider purchasing an Apple Itouch. It is great for checking email during class, and many useful pharmacy apps exist such as MedScape which will help you learn more information about drugs.
